Obituary of Denise E. Collins

Denise E. Collins, 77, of the Dry Hill Road, Rodman died Monday in the Geisinger-Community Medical Center, Scranton, PA. Denise was born in Watertown June 27, 1938 daughter of John and Bernice Brown Killorin. She attended Watertown High School and married Jack Collins, January 1, 1956 in Holy Family Church, Watertown. The couple lived in Rodman all their married life. She is survived by her husband , three sons William ( Kimberly), Adams Center, James (Melody),Boynton Beach, FL.and Robert ( Lori), Woodruff, SC., 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, two sisters, Noreen Hook, Oakland, CA.,and Jill Gutierrez, San Antonio, TX. as well as several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her daughter Deborah Simmons and a sister Dianne Kerins. Mrs. Collins was a 4-H leader of the Dry Hill Hustlers for 12 years, past president of the Ladies Aid of the Honeyville Baptist Church for 10 years, past president of the American Baptist Women for Missions Committee, active with the YWCA for 20 years and a Docent at the Jefferson County Historical Society for 15 years. A memorial service will be held in the spring at the Honeyville Baptist Church with arrangements by the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams.
