Obituary of Jacob R. VanVranken

Jacob R. VanVranken, 24, of the Midtown Towers, Watertown died Wednesday at home. His funeral will be 10:00am Monday at the Rodman Community Church, Pastor Derrick West of the Assembly of God Church, Watertown officiating.  Spring burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery, Rodman. A visitation will be 4-6pm Sunday at the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams.  Jacob was born September 22, 1991 in Watertown son of Edwin and Cynthia Rossman VanVranken. He graduated from South Jefferson High School. He then worked at the Dollar General Store, Adams, Wendy's Restaurant, Watertown, Cafe Mira, Adams and FX Caprara Auto Sales, Watertown. Jacob is survived by his mother Cynthia "Cindy" (Howard) Tiberend, Rodman, a brother Jesse J. (Samantha) VanVranken, Rodman, his paternal grandmother Faith VanVranken, Watertown, a half sister Lisa (Kenneth) Davies, Theresa, a half brother Jonathan Burnham, Watertown, a niece Tessa VanVranken, Rodman and a nephew Michael Davies, Theresa. He is predeceased by his father. Jacob was an avid Buffalo Bills fan and his favorite pastime was writing songs.
