Born June 21, 2000 in Watertown, NY, son of Neal A. and Tina M. (Smith) Tyrrell, he was a 2018 graduate of South Jefferson Central School and was currently attending Jefferson Community College with the ambition of becoming a state trooper.  Luke was recently accepted in the Customs and Border Patrol Internship Program, where he would have served locally.  He also worked part time for Ramsey’s Pizza in Adams Center as a delivery person.

He is survived by his parents Neal and Tina Tyrrell, and his three sisters Samantha, Lia and Megan Tyrrell, all of Adams; his maternal grandparents Robert and Sally Smith Jr, Adams; his paternal grandparents Bruce and Patricia Tyrrell, Watertown; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many many friends.

Luke loved the outdoors, fishing, hunting, hiking, dirt biking and snowmobiling.  Above all, though, he will be remembered by his enjoyment of life and how he connected with everyone, making sure they felt loved.

Memorial contributions are requested to be made to the Northern New York Community Foundation, 131 Washington Street, Watertown, NY 13601 and designated to establish a scholarship fund in Luke Tyrrell’s name with the South Jefferson Central School District.
