Obituary of Carl A. Dealing Jr.

Carl A. Dealing Jr., 65, of Lorraine, died Monday December 18, 2017 in the emergency room at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.  There are no public services.  Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams.

Born September 22, 1952 in Watertown, NY, son of Carl Dealing Sr. and Ethel Robbins, he graduated from Adams High School.  Carl worked for Rural Hill Sand and Gravel, Suit Kote and a total of 34 years for the Town of Lorraine where he was currently the Highway Superintendent.

He married Robin Nemier of Syracuse on July 13, 1974 in Lorraine with Justice Arlene Roberts officiating.  The couple spent all their married life in Lorraine.

Surviving besides his wife Robin, are two daughters Erin Desormeau, GA, Tracey (Nolan) Shoot, Gahanna, OH; seven grandchildren, two great grandchildren; a brother James Wayne (Lorilei) Dealing, Altmar, a sister Virginia “Faye” Clemons, Lorraine; and several nieces and nephews.

He is predeceased by his parents.

Carl was a member of the Lorraine Volunteer Fire Department and the Jefferson County Highway Superintendents Association.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, winter sports and especially his grandchildren.
