Obituary of Sally M. Conway

Sally M. Conway, 81, of Adams, died Monday January 27, 2025 at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, NY. There are no services at this time. Burial will be in the spring in the Rural Cemetery, Adams. Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home Inc, Adams, NY. Born August 23, 1943 in Watertown, NY, she was the daughter of Michael and Catherine (Barber) Smith. Following her graduation from Watertown High School in 1962, she worked as a nurse's aid for several years at the former Jefferson County Home on Coffeen Street, and later became a stay at home mom. She married Kenneth G. Conway of Adams on June 29, 1963 in Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, Watertown. The couple lived in Watertown before moving to their current home in Adams in 1984. For over twenty years they also spent winters at their home in Sebring, FL. Surviving besides her husband Kenneth G. Conway, Adams are two sons Michael J. Conway; Ogdensburg and Christopher S. Conway and his companion Sarah Orr, Adams; two granddaughters Brittany and Sabrina; and one brother Joseph Smith, Watertown. Sally enjoyed flower gardening, but she especially loved taking care of her family and her dogs.
