It is with profound sadness that the Ring and Kendrick families announce the recent passing of Janet Ann West Ring, 92, Bunnell, FL and formerly of Adams, NY.

Janet was the daughter of Gerald West and Evelyn Kelly West of Adams, NY. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Janet’s husband, Alan C. Ring predeceased her in 2003. Janet and Al were co-owners of Ring’s Department Store in Adams, NY with other members of the Ring family.

She is survived by her children, Thomas A. Ring of Golden Valley, MN; Nancy Ring Kendrick of Port Orange, FL; her granddaughter, Marisa Evelyn and great-granddaughter Cosie.

Janet was a talented cook and baker, who was famous for her macaroni and cheese, and cranberry orange bread, among other delectables. She will be remembered for her kind heart, warm smile, unwavering spirit and love of vodka martinis at 5 PM!

There will be no services.
