Franklin B. "Benny" Kenyon Obituary

Franklin B. “Benny” Kenyon II, 61, of Adams Center, died Tuesday April 22, 2025 at Upstate Medical Center, Syracuse, NY. There are no public services. A celebration of his life will be held at a later time to be announced.

Born September 10, 1963 in Watertown, NY, he was the son of Franklin B. “Benny” and Caroline (Richards) Kenyon. Following his graduation in 1981 from South Jefferson Central School, he joined the Carpenters Union in Watertown, then went to work at his parent’s bakery “Bob’s Bakery” in Adams Center. Widely known for their daily fresh homemade donuts, he worked with them until they sold the business in 2011. He was currently employed at Hahn Automotive Parts Distributor in Watertown.


Benny is survived by one son Jared Kenyon and fiancee Amanda Roberts, Adams Center; three daughters Laci Kenyon, Lexi Kenyon, Marlee Kenyon, all of Cape Vincent; one grandson Cole Kenyon and one granddaughter Natalie Kenyon, both of Adams Center. He is also survived by a brother James (Kim) Kenyon, FL; a sister Robin (Ron) Ingersoll, Lowville; and several nieces and nephews.


He is predeceased by both his parents.


He enjoyed all outdoor activities including hunting, horses and camping, and also enjoyed woodworking.
