Vonnie and family, I am so very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. Norma was one of the sweetest women I have ever known. I am picking blueberries tomorrow. Planned on taking some to her. She so enjoyed the freshly picked berries. Norma was a very sweet and kind person. Always a sweet smile and so thankful for any small act of kindness shown her. She will certainly be missed by all who knew her.

Mrs. Lawrence was a mentor to many neighborhood kids like me. She was the advisor for the Youth Temperance Council,which kept us focused on doing the right thing. Her kindness and gentle guidance will always be remembered as my dad was a single dad. Will always remember her fondly.

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved mother. In my many years of being a caregiver she always meant the most to me. I will so miss our Sunday’s of watching pastor Missy and of course our buffalo bills. She was such a dear friend to me.

Dear Jim, Ken and Vonnice,
Our families' lives were closely intertwined during childhood and beyond. So many shared memories of church, sleepovers, church groups, church camp and friendship between us all, but especially Vonnice and I. Your Mom was a huge presence in my life and her faith was unwavering. She certainly made an indelible stamp on my life that is present even today. She is resting in God's loving arms now, together with your Dad and loved ones who passed before her. I pray that gives you peace during this most difficult time. Norma and Jim were two of the loveliest people I ever met. She never failed to send me a card with kind wishes on Doctor’s Day and other holidays. She bore the loss of her wonderful husband with the quiet grace by which she lived her life. I feel fortunate to have known both Norma and James.
