Unfortunately, I didn't personally know Nikki, bit DO KNOW the loss of loved ones all too well. I learned of Nikki & all her great doings, accomplishments, & care through DCC, when my personally rescued cat who was a survivor in his own was diagnosed with diabetes.
In the following yrs, I heard Nikki's name come up frequently in conversations & how much she contributed her knowledge & time to the care for those of us learning to care for & treat our diabetic cats. Nikki's knowledge was a tremendous assistance & personal training for those of us in need of her knowledge for proper care & regulation of our fur babies. I believe Nikki is unsurpassed in her contributions, caring & love to her family & society in so many ways. As I stated before, her name was brought up frequently through DCC (Diabetic Cat Care).
My GREATEST CONDOLENCES to her family & friends, at such a heart breaking time. She will always live on in our & your hearts forever in her memories & teachings.
Nikki, may you be singing in Heaven, dancing with Jesus, & resting in peace for eternity. You'll definitely be GREATLY MISSED! BIG HUGs to her family & friends....

To Grace, Gary and family, I’ve just learned of Nikki’s passing. My deepest sympathy to all of you. I’ve known Nikki since the early 70’s when I was just starting my family. We spent a lot of time at her parent’s home on weekends. Nikki loved children and there was never a lack of love , patience and fun shone to our kids when they were around. I’m sure your family will miss her dearly. Praying for comfort and peace in the days ahead. God bless, Carol Edwards Pelton Jefford.

My many thoughts and prayers go to the Lasell and Groff families. I have known Nikki ever since 1st grade, when we would play the game, do you know the muffin man. My voice, when I sang would sound just like Nikki. They, our class mates would always say that I was Nikki. I lost touch with classmates including Nikki, due my career in the Navy. Reading her obituary and her tributes, she had touched so many people lives in a very positive way. May she rest in peace and may her family cherish their memories of her, as an outstanding person, and her friends remember her for the caring person she is. Nikki you'll be missed by many.

I met Nikki years ago, when our kids were small and they all played together. My girls have fond memories of going to Brennons Beach for the weekend and all of the different activities that she made sure that they were in. Later on, we worked together in ASU, and as fore mentioned, she was a wonderful surgical nurse, kind, compassionate and smart, just who you would want to take care of you. In the early 2000’s, she and Vanessa joined the AUMC choir, and boy could she sing…an absolutely breathtaking voice. We had lots of fun, singing together for years. I really miss those days. I do hope she’s singing in Heaven! Val Chamberlain.

Nikki and Lori grew up with my sister and me. Her mom, Grace, and my mom grew up together. A memory I have of Nikki is when she was playing baseball with a group of us at my house and I was catcher. She swung the bat and hit me in the head! I spent some time in the ER. After a few stitches I returned home and continued playing! Sending special thoughts to her whole family!! A wonderful family!

Nikki was a sister to me. We met while playing flute in the marching band back in Jr. high. We had an immediate love for each other. She became my sister in law and from there we shared so many adventures. She was my golf partner at Tomacys where we shared so many fun times and maybe a Manhatten or two. She was there when my son was born always the loving and caring person. Our little Doodles are even brother and sister. Spent so many wonderful times with her Mom and Dad and Lori and Cindy. Always wondered how Larry shared a bathroom with all those girls. Ha. They always made me feel like family. My heart breaks for the family. Rest in peace my dear Sis. Love thoughts and prayers to you all.
