Robert A. (Bob) Bacon, 70, of Adams Center, NY, passed away on Tuesday, January 21, 2026 at the Rochester General Hospital, Rochester, NY.  At his request, there will be no services. There will be a private spring burial in the Union Cemetery, Adams Center, NY.

Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams, NY.

Robert was born in Ellisburg, NY to Clyde W. & Pauline P. (Smith) Bacon on May 17, 1955. He attended South Jefferson and Belleville Henderson schools.  He married his high school sweetheart, Scotti E. Clark and the couple resided in the Adams Center area for all of their married life.

He worked for Northland Electric Motors for ten years.  After that he began working in construction, where he ran his own successful business, until he recently semi-retired. Bob enjoyed building just about anything and took great pride in his home and surroundings.  He loved cruising around in his GEM car, 4-wheeler and Moped.  Robert had a great sense of humor and loved his family dearly, He will be missed more than words can say.

Robert is survived by his wife, Scotti E. Bacon, of Adams Center, his daughters: Billie Jo Bacon, Adams Center and Vanessa Bacon, Adams Center, his brother Ronald (Lori) Bacon, Sandy Pond, NY. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents and six sisters: Bonnie Place, Carole Blair, Mary Lou Hough, Cheryl Kenyon, Donna VanBrocklin, and Sally Herrick.
