My family is deeply saddened by this tragedy. My sons both wrote on facebook tributes to your awesome son. The following is what I wrote...
Enzo - you charmed me from the moment I met you. I loved our chat sessions when you came over to visit Joe and would end up filling me in on all the latest news/gossip while I kept giving you chips and soda.
I have many fond memories of you and am thankful for the friendship you shared with my sons while we lived in Myanmar.
My heart aches for all your family and friends... it's so hard to accept you are no longer here... You made a positive impact on many people around the world and will always be remembered

We became friends 7 years ago. I was awkward and insecure and having a hard time adjusting to life in Myanmar. You were there for me when I had nothing to offer you, and you helped turn those 4 years overseas into some of the best years of my life. We did everything together, and even after you moved and we hadn't seen eachother in a few years, our friendship never weakened. Words can't express what your friendship meant to me, which is why it is so hard to except that you are gone. I will truly miss you Enzo. I look forward to seeing you again one day in Heaven.May you Rest in Peace.

Dear Barbara and Emily,
We are stunned and heartbroken at such a senseless tragedy.
Over the years we've known you, in Addis, and then on visits to Yangon, or yours to Bangkok, we've often talked about how happy and loving your home is, and how your well-deserved pride and love for Enzo were so beautifully evident. We've seen Enzo grow up to be a strong, mature, happy and gentle young man, still with a playful spirit and the smile that lights up a room that we remember from the photos we have of him and Peter grinning while playing trumpet years ago.
We wish we could be there with you to celebrate Enzo's life and share stories of how much he has meant to others, and how many lives he has touched. We are holding you close in our thoughts and hearts, and praying for strength and comfort.
