Obituary of Norma J. Bice
Norma “June” Bice, 88, longtime resident of Worth, died Sunday evening at the Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown. Her funeral service will be 4:00 pm Friday at the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams. Calling hours will precede the funeral beginning at 1:00 pm. Burial in the spring will be in the Rural Cemetery, Adams.
Born August 21, 1929 in the town of Worth, daughter of Ora W. and Gladys (O’Connor) Bice, she attended Worth Center School District #4. June lived and worked her entire life on the family farm in Worth, retiring in 2013 due to her health.
Surviving are four brothers, John Bice, Worth, Richard Bice, Adams, James (Nancy) Bice, worth, Willard Bice, Watertown; three sisters, Marguerite Brown, Adams Center, Sandra Piddock (companion Reggie Murray), Worth, Jennie (Victor) Carr, Glen Park; many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
She is predeceased by her parents, two brothers Daniel and Robert Bice, and two sisters Betty Robbins and Joan Bice.
June enjoyed jewelry crafting and flower gardening. She also loved cats and had many over the years.
She was a former member of the Alter Rosary Society at Saint Cecilia’s Church, Adams.
