Obituary of Hugh L Smith

Hugh L. Smith, 57, of Carthage, died January 17, 2019 at the University Hospital SUNY Health Science Center, Syracuse.  There are no calling hours or funeral service.  Private burial will take place in the spring.

Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home Inc., Adams, NY.

Born December 12, 1961 in Watertown, son of Lyman P. and Anna May (Redder) Smith, he has been a client of Jefferson Rehabilitation Center for many years, lately residing in Carthage.

Hugh is survived by one brother Erwin Smith, Rodman; one sister Ethel Smith, Rodman; two nephews James Smith, Burrville and Nathan Smith, Rodman, and several cousins.

He is predeceased by his parents.
