With deepest sorrow, we announce that Wesley David Ratliff, age 31 our beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed away late afternoon on August 10, 2020 after being stricken by a massive heart attack. Those who knew Wesley, even just a little lost a shining light in their life. Wes was devoted to his friends, family, and the clients he worked with as an outreach specialist at Credo Community Foundation, often putting their needs before his own. He was a master conversationalist, listening intently while sharing his vast knowledge on a number of topics without ever making you feel insignificant. Wes’s sense of humor kept us all smiling and his perspective on life was unlike any others. He knew a cookie was a home for a chocolate chip. Wesley was a very private person, and so we will celebrate his life privately. There will be no public services. Wes will be missed everyday by his father Michael, his mother Pamela, brothers Devin, Derek, Warren, just like a brother Joe, his grandmother Jane Thomas, his loving Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and many great friends.
