Memories of Carol during Christmas Eve parties are ones that I will never forget. Always energetic(dancing), inviting, and hospitable. The food that she cooked was amazing and the willingness of Carol and Dick to have those other than family members join the Christmas Eve celebrations is a testament to their kind hearts. Many fond memories year after year with Frannie, Mike, and the entire family. Although I was not there for the difficult times, I will never forget the truly great times with Carol...

I have many memories of this very lively and exciting women. Howard and I shared many a Christmas Eve in the home of the Degons and the love she showered on all family and friends was evident by all she did to welcome all in her home. I remember her entrance into a tavern proclaiming loudly the girls from Watertown where there - and boy were they. What a truly genuine and loving individual, my husband and i are fortunate to know your family well - with one being my best friend - thank Carol for bringing your daughter into my life and that of my husbands. You certainly created an amazing family with your husband of so many years. you will truly be missed. Lisa
