This was devastating news to hear. I'm a teacher at SJCS and I can honestly say that Cecil was one of my favorite people in the building. And it wasn't just that she made the best damn peanut butter frosting that I have ever tasted! Despite my love of food... I'm not the biggest guy. "Here comes ol' no-ass" was frequently heard from Cecil when I walked in the cafeteria! She tried her best to fatten me up over the years. RIP Cecil and sincere condolences to her family. She will be missed.

I'm so sorry to hear of Cecil's passing. She always made me laugh with her sharp wit. A few memories I'll never forget: she taught me how the family cats, Smokey and Suzie, could "take my picture" with their tails, educated me as to what Exlax would make you do ("sXXX a blue streak!") and would just roll her eyes when Trena and I took change from the tall jar for gas money. I'm glad to have spent a lot of time in the 80's and early 90's with the family and Cecil. My sincerest condolences to John, Bob, Jody and Trena and your families.
