Melinda C. Worthington Obituary

Melinda C. Worthington, 66, of Adams Center, died unexpectedly at her home in Adams Center on Monday November 13, 2023. It was her wishes to be cremated with no services.


Arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home Inc, Adams, NY.


Born February 14, 1957 in Watertown, daughter of Frank C. and Lois N. (Horton) Casselman, she graduated from South Jefferson Central School in 1975. She worked part time for Dr. Thompson in Adams Center as a receptionist while she attended Jefferson Community College, earning an associates degree in medical technology. Melinda briefly worked at the college in various lab programs, and then worked at Mercy Hospital in Watertown from 1981 - 1986, before retiring due to disability.


Melinda has lived in Adams Center her entire life.


She is survived by two brothers Mike (Cindy) Casselman, Chaumont, Dave (Carol) Casselman, Rodman; one granddaughter Victoria Herman; several nieces and nephews; and her good friend Cindy Cornwell.
