Ruth Ann Caster, 89, of Middleburg, PA and formerly of Pierrepont Manor, NY, left this earth for a Heavenly Home on April 17, 2024 meeting Jesus face to face and her loved one’s who have gone on before her. 

She was born June 28, 1934 in Heuvelton, NY, daughter of Leander and Marjorie (VanBrocklin) Cressman and was the oldest of 7 children.

She married William H. “Bill” Caster Jr. on June 21, 1954. The couple lived most of their life in Pierrepont Manor, later moving to Summerfield, FL, and in 2014 they moved to PA.

Mr. Caster died March 18, 2022.

Surviving are her five daughters, Linda (Paul) Alexander, Carmella (Douglas) Quesenberry, Beverly (Annie) Caster, Rhoda (Jacob) Martin and Lois (John) Stahl; as well as 14 grandchildren and 37 great grandchildren. 

Ruth worked hard as a mother and homemaker-gardening, sewing, cooking, baking, giving to others and being a gracious host. She was well known with an eye for service along with being a prayer warrior. She will be greatly missed! 

A graveside service will be Wednesday April 24 at 2:00 pm in the Rural Cemetery, Adams, NY.
