Obituary of Timothy F. Jerome

Timothy F. Jerome, 63, of Adams, died peacefully at his home on Saturday August 31, 2024 with his wife Audrey by his side. Born November 30, 1960 in Watertown, he was one of thirteen children to parents Raymond and Beatrice (Hammond) Jerome. Following his graduation in 1980 from South Jefferson Central School he worked at Longways Diner, Price Chopper and most recently at Home Depot. He also cleaned the Adams Center Baptist Church, He married Audrey E. Berkey of Adams on September 16, 2000 at the Adams Center Baptist Church. The couple lived in Adams Center before moving to Adams in 2018 where they lived the rest of their married life. Surviving besides his wife Audrey, is Janice Jerome, Jackie Jerome, Janet Durham, Dennis Jerome, Jerry Jerome; two brothers in law Brian and Jeff Berkey, one sister in law Louanne Valley, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by both his parents and mother and father in-law Charles and Virginia Berkey. Also siblings Joanne Dick, Judy Jerome, Jackie Jerome, Bill Jerome, Bob Jerome, Ron Jerome, Randy Jerome, nephew Jordan Jerome and brother in law Russell Berkey. In high school he was an avid wrestler and played football. He also enjoyed riding his bike and walking. There will be a graveside burial service at 11:00 am Saturday September 14 in the Union Cemetery, Adams Center, with Matthew Jesssman conducting the service. Following the service, a celebration of life will begin at noon at the Adams Fire Hall. A special thanks to the South Jeff Rescue Squad and everyone for making it possible to get Tim home, which was where he wanted to be.  Also, a big thank you to my sister Louanne for taking on his care which allowed the hospital to let him come home.
