Obituary of Todd B. Hamilton

Todd B. Hamilton, 38, of Gilbert, Arizona and formerly of Adams Center, died Tuesday October 28, 2014.  There will be a memorial service at 4:00 pm Sunday November 9, at the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams, with Rev. Terry Alford, associate pastor of the Smithville Baptist Church, officiating.  Calling hours will precede the service beginning at 2:00 pm.  Burial will be private. Born April 2, 1976 in Watertown, son of Jeffrey and Betty (Knapp) Hamilton.  Following his graduation from South Jefferson Central School, he joined the United States Air Force in January 1997 and was an Air Craft Crew Chief until 2001.  While in the Air Force, he was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida as an Air Craft Crew Chief and then deployed to Saudi Arabia during his enlistment.  Todd worked at Andrews Air Force Base in Maryland from 2001 - 2004 as an aircraft mechanic and while at Andrews he obtained his A & P license, ATSI Fighter Corp/ Alliance Aircraft Corp/US Marshals from 2004 - 2010, Pax Naval Air Training Base in Maryland from 2010 - 2013, and 2013 - to present he was working at Falcon Air as an aircraft flight mechanic. Todd is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Betty Hamilton, Adams Center; a brother Jeffrey Hamilton II, Tucson, AZ; a nephew Zachary and a niece Paige, both of AZ.   He is predeceased by his paternal grandparents Clifford and Katherine Hamilton and his maternal grandparents Ralph and Edna Knapp. He loved motorcycling and when he was not riding, he enjoyed working on his truck and was a Redskins Football fan.  He especially cherished spending time with his family and was a very caring, thoughtful and considerate person.
