Obituary of John E. Devoy

John E. Devoy, 61, longtime resident of Adams, died March 18th in the Samaritan Medical Center. There will be no services and arrangements are with the Piddock Funeral Home, Adams. He was born February 12, 1954 in Watertown, son of Lansing (Skip) and June Welsh Rendell. He graduated from Adams High School and went to work at the former Dairymans League Cheese Plant in Adams. He later was Sexton and former board member of the Adams Rural Cemetery for 19 years. John was an accomplished musician playing many instruments and played in local bands. He is survived by his mother June Welsh, a daughter Kristin Shelby, Tecumseh, OK and several cousins. He is predeceased by his father and his step father James Welsh.
